D1B is a residential development of 78 two bed apartments, ground floor cafe and associated works. As a part of the SA1 Swansea Waterfront Development. The scheme design concept of apartments with under croft car parking are arranged in two blocks around the central landscaped courtyard.

Holder Mathias Architects has worked closely with Swansea Housing Association and the WDA to design a residential development which puts an emphasis on sustainability and energy use. This is achieved through building orientation, use of day lighting, controlled use of glazing, reduced energy consumption during and post construction and use of contemporary technology and materials.
