Capital Waterside is one of the most significant development projects within Cardiff´s Inner Harbour; the heart of Cardiff Bay Development. Holder Mathias Architects, along with Benjamin Thompson and Associates prepared an urban development framework for a 40 acre site within the context of and responding to the challenge presented by the Development Corporation´s Inner Harbour Planning Brief. Outline planning permission consent was achieved for 800,000 sqft of offices, 125 homes, 25,000 sqft of retail and the siting of a new Millennium Arts Centre for Wales.
