£60mThis scheme began with a successful planning application for the redevelopment of the Cambrian Centre, Newport – a 1960´s car park and retail complex opposite Newport Railway Station. The site is in an important location in Newport, as it is the first thing many visitors see as they arrive from the railway station.
The project was then acquired by Modus, who retained Holder Mathias as its architects. It has been dramatically modified since they acquired the site and City Spires as it is now know, now creates a new retail frontage to Queensway as well as giving the town a new landmark.
