£4mPart of the Millennium Stadium development is The Riverwalk, which consists of a pedestrian and in part, vehicular route, extending from Wood Street Bridge to Castle Bridge. The Riverwalk is split into three distinct sections: a timber boarded, cantilevered central balcony section adjacent to the Stadium and finally, the termination of the walk on Wood Street as part of the South Plaza area.
A further commission was awarded to Holder Mathias to orchestrate the Operational Plan for all areas around the Stadium, providing advice on the management of the movement of people accessing and regressing from the Stadium.
