£6mWe are retained by Invicta Leisure Ltd., one of the UK´s fastest growing leisure operators, as architects for their entire UK operation. The 80,000 sq.ft Glamorgan club occupies a six–acre site just off the M4 at Llandarcy near Swansea. The design is based on a new concept which Holder Mathias Architects developed for Invicta and which now forms a model for the company´s clubs across the UK. A dramatic curved aluminium roof incorporates an impressive range of sports and leisure facilities: six indoor and four outdoor tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, three squash and four badminton courts, a fitness room, aerobics room and multi–activity sports hall.
