Holder Mathias won the commission to design a new general hospital at Llanelli in competition.
The hospital is based on the ´Nucleus´ design concept. Facilities include a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, 200 beds, accident and emergency department, geriatic department, out patient facilities, substantial pharmaceutical laboratories and resiential accommodation for medical staff.
