This project is on the site of a former telephone exchange and offices for BT. Previously the Estates Department of the University had commissioned us to undertake a strategic accommodation study that would form the basis of its future development. This project came about as a result of that study, when it became clear that a new facility was required.

The new Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries brings together the creative disciplines within the University under one roof – design, arts, media, performing arts, music and cultural studies.
