Holder Mathias Architects was appointed to prepare proposals for the refurbishment of the University´s Main Building. The objective was to adapt and improve the accommodation to provide the necessary facilities for the School of Chemistry and Applied Chemistry. Design clinics were held on a regular basis with the department representatives to establish the brief for the various laboratory areas
