Every year Holder Mathias holds a design review where we look at all the projects we have undertaken in the previous 12 months, and through an objective assessment look at the quality achieved. The review looks not only at design quality, but also at sustainability, client satisfaction and how well the project has been carried out in accordance with our Quality Assurance system.

This year’s review again saw an overall increase in the quality of our work. Six very different projects made the shortlist, but even beyond the finalists there were others that were singled out for special mention, including the Lucknam Park Spa project, Kolding Designer Outlet, Albert Street in Bletchley, Gwyn Hall in Neath, Castle Picaddilly in York and Parc Tawe.

The overall winner of the design award went to Lucknam Park Spa with Gwyn Hall, Neath a very close second.
