The social and entertainment focus of the Oasis Lakeland Forest Village is the Village Centre, set on the edge of the eight acre man–made lake.  The Village Centre is a large heavily landscaped central space.  Innovative structural solutions have created large spans with all the commercial uses fronting onto the space.  Access to the adjacent sub–tropical Waterworld is also via this central area.

Winner of a Quality in Construction Award, Oasis Villages, Whinfell is now part of Center Parcs.
