Lucknam Park Hotel is a fine listed building set in parkland and is therefore a site of great sensitivity. Lucknam Park were seeking a state of the art spa to maintain the hotel´s reputation for being one of the UK´s most highly regarded country house hotels.
The holder Mathias design concept respects the special nature of the house and grounds through an unashamedly contemporary approach without resorting to pastiche. The spa building will be low–key in scale and hidden below two new walled gardens, invisible from the hotel and will not detract from its character or setting. The new facilities will be of a world–class standard.
