Holder Mathias Architects was commissioned to masterplan the area to include: a range of residential accommodation, a variety of retail space, sites for corporate headquarters and hotels, all to provide commercial subsidy for the Sports Village which would include an athletics stadium, indoor ski dome, ice hockey arena, swimming pool, leisure ice pad and health an fitness facilities.
