Dumballs Road represents one of the last large–scale sites for regeneration in central Cardiff. Strategically sited between the City Centre and Cardiff Bay, it represents a unique opportunity to link these two areas with a new mixed use city quarter.
Holder Mathias has designed a high density scheme based around a new street pattern which will promote central city living and working. New routes are opened up through the site to connect the city with its principal river.
The mixture of commercial and residential uses together with community and cultural facilities, all arranged around new open space will make this a significant addition to Cardiff.
