Holder Mathias Architects obtained planning permission in October 2005 for this scheme, which forms a link between the development of Prospect Place and the proposed Cardiff International Sports Village.

The scheme was inspired by the panamoric views across Cardiff Bay, and back towards the inner harbour. The layout and geometry of the scheme offers water views to the vast majority of apartments, through the creation of a unique ´saw tooth´ plan layout, while creating a series of stepped south–facing terraces.

The overall effect is to create a building form which appears inherently layered and sculptural, while maintaining a relatively simple and efficient plan form.
