£8mHolder Mathias Architects was appointed to re–design the David Evans Store on the corner of Temple Street and Princess Way. Local planners and the City of Swansea are looking for suitable, modern design to act as a catalyst for regenerating this area of Swansea.
The new retail accommodation comprises seven units varying in size. The scheme has been designed with a great degree of flexibility to increase longevity. This exciting project has Portland Stone plinth, terracotta screen to the first floor and a copper treatment has been developed for the second floor as a response to Swansea´s World history of copper smelting and exports.
