The £70 million mixed–use regeneration scheme has been designed by Holder Mathias Architects on behalf of St. Modwen and Advantage West Midlands, and will establish a new heart for the local community.
Longbridge is the largest regeneration project in the West Midlands. It aims to deliver a sustainable community with the creation of up to 10,000 new jobs, over 2,000 new homes, a new town centre, and, new public spaces, linkages and parks. Holder Mathias proposals comprise the first phases of a new town centre to include a food store, high street and large format type retail units, offices, a hotel, bars, restaurants, car parking and a new park.
Future phases currently under construction include additional retail and car parking, as well as further accommodation for Bournville College.
