This is a 600,000 sq ft retail and leisure scheme.  The concept design forms an integral part of an urban regeneration masterplan for Hull.

The main building, designed by Holder Mathias, features an undulating curved glass roof over a 14m covered street, creating a bright, naturally ventilated and vibrant environment.  The scheme integrates retail and leisure, along with a raised–level food terrace comprising a variety of bars and restaurants, via a central hub.  The development also comprises a new music centre (Albemarle), a 96–bed hotel, the new Hull Truck Theatre, and a city centre residential development of approximately 200 units, a proportion of which may be key–worker housing.
