This project is for the reconfiguration of Queen´s Arcade shopping centre in Cardiff. The remodelling of one of Cardiff´s main shopping arcades sees the creation of a number of new shops with a variety of sizes.

The proposals involve a substantial redesign of the Queen Street frontage whereby the existing external escalators are removed and repositioned within the mall while the existing toliets at the lower level are relocated internally.

The existing basement level management suite is relocated and the whole basement is combined to form a new anchor unit. The Queen Street retail frontage is rationalized and new first floor units created. The proposals are designed to strengthen the Queen Street frontage while managing more effectively the customer circulation throughout the centre.
