Peter Mathias founded the Practice with Tim Holder in 1968. He has chaired the practice since 2002 overseeing a team which has doubled the size of the business whilst producing a wide range of high quality work throughout the United Kingdom and into Europe. Peter plays a key role in establishing the direction on major projects and securing client relationships, in each case creating opportunities for the next generation to step into the leadership role. He has a particular skill in leading multidisciplinary teams on large scale regeneration projects with complex planning backgrounds and requiring high level strategic advice such as the £135m Barnsley Markets project, the potential Talbot Green Town Centre project (£290m) and the YES! Scheme (£240m).
